The youth centre Aktionszentrum is a retreat house of the Salesians of Don Bosco, a catholic religious
order founded in the late nineteenth century by Saint John Bosco in an attempt, through works of
charity, to care for the young and disadvantaged children.
The centre hosts weekly about 250-300 youngsters, coming from different schools of the Bavarian
region. The team of the centre leads workshops and courses for school classes. Target group are young
people between 14 and 19. Aktionszentrum is also active at international level: every year about 25
young people are sent to different countries of the world to spend one year as volunteers. The youth
centre is also leading ESC-trainings on behalf of the National Agency of the Erasmus+ programme
“Jugend für Europa”, in collaboration with other youth centres.
